QTEL "office box"

Qtel’s enhanced ‘Office in a Box’ solution is finding increased favour with businesses across Qatar, helping to drive efficiencies and boost international marketing efforts.

In 2009, it has become one of the most popular solutions for small and medium sized enterprises in Qatar. The service, which brings together secure broadband access, IP telephony, and business class e-mail and web hosting services in a practical communication package is increasingly becoming the preferred choice for small and medium businesses.

Qtel Business Solutions worked with representatives from more than 75 Qatari companies to examine how the solution could help them, and how Qtel could enhance the solution to provide the best possible service, at a recent workshop at the W Hotel in Doha.

The workshop was organised as part of Qtel’s “fuel your senses” campaign around its refreshed brand, designed to demonstrate the difference that Qtel makes in the lives of people every day of the week.

Feedback from sessions like these is continuously fed into the development process of new solutions from Qtel, to ensure companies benefit from the highest levels of effectiveness. ‘Office in a Box’ has continued to be upgraded since its launch in 2008, to ensure that it matches the needs of Qatar’s fast-growing small business sector.

The upgraded and enhanced ‘Office in a Box’ and many of the activities connected to it have been designed to stimulate different senses. The newly upgraded “Office in a Box” now offers increased broadband Internet access at no extra cost as standard and new internet access upgrade options.

In addition, ‘Office in a Box’ provides a range of IP telephony handset upgrade options, increased e-mail storage and new call-forwarding functionality, to ensure that it fully supports the needs of businesses across Qatar.

Also included are customer LAN options to make installation of the product quick and cost effective. Call forwarding is included as standard for five numbers of the customers’ choice
